Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! Crazy weather here in my region today, a little rain, a little Sun, but it's not so bad because I can enjoy my bacjyard during the pauses from my work inside my lab. ^_^
I painted many pieces of the series "Thinking about home" during the previous weeks and this morning I really felt the need to paint something different on the hair of my own characters! Sure, I like so much my usual "Thinking about home" tiny scenes, but I also like to image different scenes on those heads and so here I am to show you my latest artworks:
Yes, this time I thought about some tiny human figures on the white hair of the main subject. Just a touch of blue and little lines for the legs and the arms to represent the people, I added a tiny umbrella to some of them, because today it's raining and so they can use it to save themselves from the raindrops or to fly like Mary Poppins. ^_^
I love the final result, so I think I'll paint some other similar ones, stay tuned!
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
