Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! I hope you are spending your weekend in a nice, relaxed way. ❤️
Here today is really an hot day and so, while my furry friend Richy is sleeping hard in a cool corner inside my lab room, I'm spending my time creating and painting some new funny characters in form of paper dolls.
You know sometimes I love to use my brushes and colors to create paper dolls upcycling different scraps of paper. It's a funny way, for me, to study new characters and to understand how different forms and colors could works together on different surfaces.
This morning, when the air was cooler than now, I created a sort of freaky dressed cat and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:
I had so much fun to image this freaky figure and I'm painting some other similar ones.
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on around 250 gsm paper I upcycled (I cut in in form of figure) from a paper box for cookies I had in my kitchen. As usual, I took some pics while I was painted this funny figure so you can see the steps of the process too:
