Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! Another day of rain here and it seems it will continue to rain. Thinking about all the people in my country who lost their home cause the terrible floods in the region Emilia Romagna I feel myself so sad. As I wrote yesterday, I live in a different area (I live in Tuscany, in a small city close the border of the Emilia Romagna) and here fortunately everything is normal. That region is not so far from mine, many people here in my area use to go to that region to study, to work or just for pleasure, so we know well that places. One of my cousins lives with her family in Faenza (one of the cities hurted by the water), but fortunately she live on the third floor and so her apartment is safe (even if there is no electricity in the most part of the city).
Watching all the terrible images on the tv and listing what some of our friends tell us, make me think so sorry and I really hope in the best for all the people there. ❤️
Thinking about that dramatic situation, it seems my hands can't stop themselves to paint characters with tiny houses on their head.
As you can see, the subject is one of my usual character of the series of artworks I titled "Thinking about home".
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom)!
I hope you like it and I cross my finger for the Sun over the Emilia Romagna. ❤️
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
