A tiny cat in the style of ancient bestiaries (oil on paper)

An happy Sunday to you all! At first, here in Italy today we celebrate the Moms Day and so I wanti to wish all the best to all the mom in the world, especially to them who are living hard time. ❤️❤️❤️
Even if the sky here is grey and it's raining since this morning, I feel myself full of energy and a lot of inspirations came to me in te previous days, so I think I'll spend the most part of the day working on my pieces inside my lab.

Today I'm here because I just finished a new piece of the series of tiny paintings in the style of ancient bestiaries. This time I chose to represent one of my favorite subject: a sweet, fat cat! ^_^ You can see the final result in the following pics:

I'm happy to say the a couple of days ago I sold the one I painted (and shared with you) about the sheep to a nice customer in Belgium, so it seems my customers love also this kind of artworks where I mixed my own illustrative style with the medieval style of the ancient illustrations. ^_^

Like the previous similar ones, this is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do every time I can, I took some pics while I was painted this tiny funny cat so you can see the steps of the process:
