Are you ready to welcome the 2024 in the best way?
About me and my hubby @paolobeneforti, we will spend this day wait in relax the midnight sitting on the sofa with our furry friend Richy, watching something on the TV, eating something good for dinner.
Here in my city there will be some events in the main squares, but I really hate the fireworks (not for the big, beautiful fireworks that draw figures in the sky, but I talk about the ones that just make noise) and even if the municipality, every year, prohibits them along the streets, people start to look crazy for them hours and hours before the midnight. Because of that, I prefer to stay close at home and I know I'm not the only one here. ^_^
Today I'm here also to show you the painting I just finished, that it will be my last painting of the 2023 (waiting the ones I'll paint in the next year, sure):
As you can see, the subject is similar to the one I shared with you yesterday. A girl in profile with the hair that looks branches with few leaves. I like this one more than the one I painted yesterday. ^_^
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
