An happy Friday to you all!
It's a very cold day here, the sky is full of white and grey clouds and I'm pretty sure it's snowing on the peaks close to my city.
During these days people around my age (I'm 53 years old 😊 ) are sharing some pics they took during the January 1985, when an extraordinary snowfall gave a touch of white everywhere. At that time I started the first year of the high school and I lived in a small village close to the city where I live now (Pistoia, in Italy). The first day of that snowfall our city was not ready for all of that and so there no bus around. Me and one of my friend had just a choice: to come back at home by our feet! We walked for about 8 km under the snow, but ehy, we were just 14 years old and we thought it was a sort of adventure! As you can understand, at that time there were no smartphones, no way to call our parents to know them we were ok and so our families were a little worried, but everything went ok and we felt like someone who came back at home after an Antarctic expeditions. 😁
Coming back to my daily work on art, this morning I decided to paint a different version of the character I painted yesterday and, in the following pics, you can see the final result of the new one:
It's another human figure with an hair style in form of clouds, but this time I added one of my usual tiny scenes about home on the head and a red dress instead of the ivory dress.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painting this artwork so you can see the work in progress:
