An happy Saturday to you all! It's a rainy day here in my city and watching out from my window I can see the branches of the plum tree in my backyard with just few leaves. It's common, during the winter season, to see trees with just few (or without) leaves, it's the cicle of Nature.
Thinking about those "naked" branches and about the few, brown leaves on them at now, a new idea for a new artwork came to me. I thought about those branches like the hair of a woman and so, this morning, after the first cup of coffee of my day, I worked on this idea using my brushes and oil colors.
In the following pics, you can see the final result (I needed to understand if the idea could work):
Even if the piece is not so bad and I like how the leaves work on the profile of the girl, I'm not so satisfied by the final resul, but I like the idea and so I'll paint another similar one as soon as possible.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted her on my small working table so you can see the steps of the process too:
