An happy Friday (and happy first day of November) to you all!
Another sunny, warm day here in my city and everything looks so brilliant all around. My furry friend Richy is sleeping hard on a comfortable blanket in a corner of my backyard and my hubby @paolobeneforti is working on his new artwork inside the lab, while I'm writing here feeling myself very relaxed, what's better? ❤️
This morning, like I use to do every day, I woke up soon to work on my new artworks and, after a good cup of hot coffee, I placed my small working table close to the open window. At first, I exercised my hands on my sketchbook and, in the following pics, you can see the final result on the page:
Even if I've never seen one of them in real, I decided to paint an hummingbird. Just yesterday I watched a beautiful docu movie about this tiny birds and I was very intrigued by their fly and their beautiful colors.
It's an oil painting on 200/250 gsm paper (a page of one of my sketchbooks) and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this tiny colorful bird so you can see the steps to paint it too:
