Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all! This week seems to run fast and the weekend is just around the corner. It's another rainy day here, the sky is full of white clouds and everything looks cover by a grey lace.
Today I'm here to show you the piece I painted yesterday afternoon, while my hubby was teaching to his students of his art class inside the lab room. I love to work on my paintings sitting between the other students, because I know them since years and we can chat together while we are painting. ^_^
You can see the final result in the following pics:
During these days I like to work with the leaves fallen down fromthe trees using them like stamps for my artworks and, in this case, I used 2 different leaves where to place one of my usual sweet (and fat ^_^ ) birds.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painted this bird so you can see the process too.
At first, I sketched a bird in this pose on my sketcbook, just to understand how it could work close to a leaf:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home to decor!
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
