An happy Thursday to you all!
Another (warm) day, another new painting to show you. Yesterday, like every Wednesday, I placed my small working table between the students of the art class while my ubby was teaching to them and I worked on a new oil painting on paper in my own illustrative style.
This time I decided to focus myself to paint something with branches. The branches of a tree are not so simple to draw/ paint in a almost real way, so I sketched branches many time in the past to have a decent result.
Sure, the brunches I wanted to represent was part of one of the "special hair style" of my usual characters and you can see the final result in the following pics:
You know I like to add tiny scenes or details on my painting and this time I added a tiny white deer on the head of the girl:
The subject is one of my usual girl in profile, but maybe you noticed I like so much to image scenes (and paint) using the hair of my character. 😊
Like the most part of my pieces, this one is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I love to do, I took some pics while I was painted her to show you the steps of the process:
