An happy Tuesday to you all!
Another day, another new bird (a painted bird, sure) to show you!
During this unusual warm October, the birds around seems to think we are in a sort of Springtime and so they are continuing to fly around the branches of my plum tree and on the gardens close to mine.
One of my favorite birds to paint is the Cinciallegra, the italian name of the great tit (Parus major bird). It's a very nice little bird, very common to see in my area and I really love their songs. ^_^
This morning I woke up soon to work on a new great tit portrait (in my own illustrative style) during the first hours of the day and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:
In the past I painted a couple of great tits and I sold tem, so I had to pait a new one to add to my gallery on line and I'm pretty sure my customers will love it.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping this nice (and fat) great tit will find a new home!
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
