An happy Thursday to you all!
Another rainy day here and the plants in my garden came back to life after a very dry (and very hot!) August. There are a lot of little raindrops on the leaves and they looks small gems.
My mind is like my garden, thanks the rain and the cooler temperature, it coming back to life and my thoughts and my ideas are running in a normal way. 😊
This morning I woke up soon as usual and I drank the first cup of coffee of my day close to the open door, watching the raindrops fallen down in my backyard. After the breakfast, I started to work on a new artwork during the first and quiet hours of the day and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:
It's a new bird portrait in my own illustrative style, a portrait of a Laughing gull (Leucophaeus atricilla). I've never seen one of this gull in real, but just in some pics and I was captured by its funny name. 😊 You can read more about it here.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint a new piece, I took some pics while I was painted this bird so you can see the process:
