An happy Sunday to you all! I had a busy Saturday because yesterday, in the late morning, I went to a book signing in a awesome little book shop close to my home. I was there to interview the author (a nice woman who wrote a very interestig book I loved so much) in front of the public, so, as you can understand, I was really exhited and in anxiety too. After the book signing I taked to her for some times and I gave her one of my little artwork as a sign of my grateful for the beautiful book and for the nice experience interviewing her. ^_^
This morning I felt myself full of positive thoughts and so, after the first cup of coffee of the day,I worked on a new painting about a simple woman with a simple light blue dress. In the following pics, you can see the final result:
As you can see, the subject is a blond woman with closed eyes. She wear a dress with delicate blue leaves and a large lace collar around the neck.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
