Hello hivers, I wish you a wonderful Sunday full of joy!
Another very hot day here and so me and my hubby are spending the day inside our home close to fans. My hubby now is playing his guitar inside the lab and I'm working on some little paintings inspired by the paper dolls I created yesterday (you can read about them here. This very hot weather make me feel always tired, but I'm trying to follow my usual routine with brushes and colors. ^_^
This morning, like I do every day, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the cooler hours of the day, placing my small working table close to the window to paint under the natural light. In the following pics, you can see the final result of that small piece:
As you can see, the subject is the same of the paper dolls I made yesterday. A sort of tall mountain-woman with a tiny house on the body.
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A5 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted this freaky figure so you can see the process too:
