Hello! It's Inktober once again. Last year's Inktober felt like it was only yesterday. Don't you feel the world kept spinning faster? Or is it just me?
This past three years felt more like a regression, though I still long to bring back my excitement with making art. Joining Inktober is a struggle for me so I think of ways to make it more interesting that of which I would be excited to complete the challenge.
I started to participate on 2021. I remember it was ArtPark's Inktober challenge. For 2022, I combined all the prompts in a single artwork. (INKTOBER, The Lazy Way (Super Late Entry, Yay...))
And last year, I used a uniform size of space/border to save space. (Takyarts' INKTOBER 2023 Summary) I'm trying to prevent piling up papers and other stuff because I only have a small room and my goal is to have less things which is why I prefer making digital art.
This year's concept, of course, will be different from the previous years. I am making a comic out of all the inktober prompts! It was a last minute idea and I'm glad my brain functioned just before I inked my artwork. Yeah, I have to erase and redo everything. Haha! Let's see how the story will conclude because I'm still unsure of the story's main objective.
I suppose I should give this comic a title, right? Sounds cliche but I'm calling it:
THE LAST DRAGON

Page 2
The story begins with a girl searching for a pointed tower in the wilderness as it was believed to hold some secrets. When she had located it, she took a rest and ate her snack. A talking snake then appeared claiming that she was the chosen one and ordered her to go with him.
(Day 1 (Backpack), of course, is the first page.)
Day 2: Discover
Day 3: Boots
Day 4: Exotic
Day 5: Binoculars
I wish I could do better with the details and hands. Mr. Snake kind of looks funny too. But I wouldn't be eating and do other things I have to do if I focused solely on inktober. This is my reality now. Lol. Maybe, someday I'll have extra time to polish my skills so I can draw faster without compromising the details.
