So last year, I checked out an horror movie which had scenes of demonic possessions in it and when the character was delivered from the evil spirit, they mentioned that the devil made them do some of the awful things they did earlier. I was inspired to make an art that relates to this but while making the sketch, I got another idea to make an art of a person bring controlled by the devil, somewhat like a puppet. The popular saying, "An Idle Mind is the Devil's workshop" means a person who isn't busy doing something good and productive would be used by the devil for awful and disastrous deeds and this just felt good with me for this new art.
I had initially made a sketch of a person laying in the floor and being puppeted by hands folded and crossed to give a somewhat devilish sign, but later on I felt it would be great to have my character standing upright and I just basically kept experimenting with this piece till I got a satisfactory result. I created this piece on the autodesk sketchbook app and used the scribble technique for its creation. I hope you love it.
