My introductory post( My first article )

Have you ever wondered how your body works, the heartbeat, blood circulation, and the reason why people die? This was me as a child while growing up. I was curious about how everything works in the human body

My name is Ojo Grace Aduragbemi, you can simply call me Adura, I'm from Ekiti state but I was born and brought up in Lagos Nigeria.

Growing up for me was interesting because I was engaged in academic competition with my friend Joseph, although he was my senior in class and it made me strive hard to read my books. I remember whenever we came back from school I would ask what he was taught in school and we would argue about it. This made me read more ahead of my class, which made me the top of my class. You can say I love competition yeah I do academically. My hobbies are reading, dancing, and traveling. I plan to explore the world someday when there is enough money.

At that time, I already knew that I wanted to become a nurse in the future, so I started reading about medicines. The funny fact is that I have a small bag I use to keep drugs that I bought with my feeding money, I was happy doing it because I'm happy giving out paracetamol whenever anyone has a headache.

After finishing secondary school I wanted to further in nursing but I could not because of the jamb cut-off mark, I was devasted so I tried the second time and I couldn't because I didn't meet the post-jamb cut-off mark. So I tried another health-related course and hopefully, I gained admission.

I'm currently a 200-level community health extension worker, and yes I have been able to get answers to some of my questions. My course is all about community wellness and the world at large. I never thought I would be a writer, but after much thinking, I realized I could also help people medically through writing, where they can read and learn about disease, and its prevention. I was encouraged by the most amazing people in my life.

I have been able to render health services with passion to many patients whenever I'm being posted for my clinical practice and I'm so happy because it is a dream come through for me.

Thanks to @ fashtioluwa who introduced me to Inleo and Hive, he has been such an amazing person. Like I said earlier I joined Hive to be able to communicate about diseases, their prevention, lifestyle and so many other aspects of health.
I'm incredibly excited to be here, and I'm eager to learn, grow, and receive guidance from you all. I look forward to sharing my experience and insight with you all.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
