I had a bad mood swing yesterday.
I couldn't even express how I felt in words.
Thousands of emotions were hitting me at the same time.
When my colleague-friend noticed how confused I was,she volunteered to assist me.
She bought me a chocolate drink, which I originally refused but then accepted because my mood swings would be disrupted by my longer throat🤦♂️.
Despite this, I cried😭.
I felt enraged by everything and nothing at the same time.
I didn't understand how unpleasant I was to my coworkers until I discussed it with a friend last night and apologized to them this morning. But you know what ?
They didn't condemn me, and they didn't even try to cut through my snarkiness; instead, they were kind to me.
Two people asked me this morning, "How are you feeling today?". It seemed as if they were hailing me.
I understand that dealing with problematic coworkers is inconvenient and can have a negative impact on your job if you work with them directly.
Consider, however, extending grace to them.
Especially if they aren't too challenging to work with.
Grace is required by your coworkers.
Grace is required of your friends.
Grace is something that we all require.
We must look for the good in others in a society where everyone wears a mask.
Kindness is required.
I just felt like sharing it here,
Thanks for your time ☺
