Growing up was fun. Sometimes these memories flash through my mind and make have a good laugh or just chuckle.

We used to live in a rented apartment sometimes in the past before we moved to our permanent site. So in the former house, which was a storey building, there are lots of children to play with, children of my age and above my age.

In my culture, which is Yoruba, there is usually a traditional called moonlight games, this can include storytelling, games and singing songs in a moonlit night. The view is always beautiful.
I used to enjoy moonlight stories which is usually funny and educating. The stories are usually told by an elderly most of the times and children would be asked what lessons they learnt from the stories.

The next thing I do enjoy is gaming. The games range from quite energetic ones to less energetic ones. Some are to test ones intelligence for example riddles and the enjoyable other of it too is the jokes. Altogether it is called riddles and jokes.

The day time is another interesting ball game. Oh, gone are those days.
One of those things we do is, we watch out for flying egrets. We believed that when we sing a particular song and wave our hands in rhythm to the song, a white dot will appear on our nail bed. We believed it was magic but I doubt if it was tho, because we don't always see it. They were fun and memorable moments.
