Who i am

My name is Tehseen Daad. I belong to a region, called the land of five rivers that’s
Punjab. Here I describe my educational period. After childhood, I was sent to my village school. This was the hardest period, as each child faced it at this stage. Fortunately, I didn’t have much difficulty in adjusting. Because my childhood bestie was my classmate. Being a hardworking student, I enjoyed great fame among my teachers and fellow students. Besides my studies I participated in co-curricular activities held in my school. I was fond of cricket, so I was a member of my school’s cricket team. At home I also played badminton with my siblings.

Then reality hits and as most of us lose childhood prestige and privileges, so did I. After schooling, a mature life started. I experienced college life that turned out to be very challenging, because I had to face a tough routine, busy schedule etc. But I also enjoyed most fun part, I guess.

Student life was a time of self-discovery so I explored my interest and developed a sense of independence. At first, I studied science but later lost interest in it. After reading stories and novels in English, I found my keen interest in English literature. So, I decided to pursue English as my major. Recently, I completed my Master’s degree. During my study period I used to write a diary that developed my habit of writing.
This journey of learning was amazing for me. As this journey taught me without putting aside our comfort zone, we can’t get success. Success is the other name of embracing new challenges.

Hobbies

I’m the person who never gets bored without any technological tools. I enjoy a diverse range of hobbies that enrich and increase my interest towards learning. Reading, writing, gardening, stitching and cooking are my companions in my free time.
Reading and writing are two interconnected practices that are part of my life. Through reading I have learned different cultures and histories. In this technological world, it is quite easier for me to read different books. I have a small digital library which has books related to history, novels, stories and Islamic. Writing is a way of expressing my emotions and thoughts.

I first developed my interest in gardening during my childhood. Gardening is more than just a hobby, it’s a journey of discovery and connection with nature. I had a small orchard in my home, that’s why I used to spend my free time there. Since, that time gardening is with me as a passion. I grow a vast area of plants, vegetables, fruits and flowers. I maintain my healthy lifestyle using fresh vegetables and fruits from my garden. Gardening serves as escape for me in this hustle of life. In stress it is a form of therapy, that provide me a sense of relief.

My journey with cooking began at a young age. I’m not that’s foodie but I enjoy experimenting with new flavors. I think these small trials of cooking new flavors provides me a sense of interconnection with different cultures. It’s a form of relaxation for me.

My experience with stitching started a few years ago. It was my college vocations, my Mom ask me to join stitching course classes.so, I joined the stitching academy. At started I find it boring but later when I started working by myself it was interested. I made some garments with different designing for my niece. Till that day to now I worked on different fibers. I found a kind of pleasure in experimenting new design.
