I've got a feeling, that tonight gonna be a good night, that tonight gonna be a good good night. Feeling! Hehehe... that's the melody and music going on in my head right about know as I tap away on my mobile device. One of my favourite songs by the black eyed peas, just seemed perfect for the occasion.
I'm talking about the North London Derby. The one of the most watched football match in the world. Why you might ask, yes you guessed as much: it's a widely awaited match of the season because of the rivalry history between to giant football club in England, specifically in London, Arsenal FC and Tottenham Hotspur.
These clubs have always battled it out on the field of play for supremacy and dominance over the years and the red side of London has a better record than the White Lily side.
Tonight we witness another breathtaking, mouth watering and entertainment match between these two sides. The momentum has build up for this match because this match will determine if the Gunners will cement their fourth place position and automatically qualify for the coveted final champions league spot in England or Tottenham Hotspur will have a fighting chance of toppling Arsenal before the season ends in about two games time.
Currently Arsenal seats a over Tottenham Hotspur on the 4th spot with 4points clear of a 5th positioned Tottenham Hotspur. So at the end of tonight's game which will be played at the White Hart Lane the home stadium of Tottenham Hotspur, we could see the 4points lead by the Gunners extend to a 7points lead in case of win for Arsenal, a 4 points lead in a case of a draw, a 1point difference between the two teams in a case of a win for Tottenham Hotspurs.
Tottenham Hotspur in the later stages of the EPL have picked up form and won games which would have been hard for them to win in most cases, even played a draw with Liverpool, the champions league finalist, which opened up a gap between them and Manchester city in their chase for the EPL title.
All thanks to their coach Antonio Conte and three players; Kulusevski, Harry Kane and Son.
For the Arsenal side, they had a bad beginning to the season loosing their first three matches but have fought back to be in the top four. Players like Martinelli, Saka, Emily Smith Rowe and Nketiah have stepped up their games of late but they have had their fair share of injuries. As key players like Partey, Tierney and White are a doubt for the decider of a match.
Fingers crossed, we are in for an entertaining game no doubt. I'm all out for the Gunners to pick up maximum 3 points from the white Hart Lane intimidating new stadium.
Have a lovely night folks.
