Hello, Hive community! My name is Edidiong but Dhidee for short. I'm a Nigerian, from Akwa Ibom to be specific and I'm thrilled to be joining this vibrant community of creatives and thinkers. I was introduced to Hive by @billionsjet.
I'm the second in a family of four( two males and two females), I know you're wowed, thank you😁. My story may be lengthy but I encourage you to read through. Who knows, it may be what you need to lift some mood😁
I'm a vibrant young 500level medical student of the University of Uyo.As a medical student, I spend most of my time buried in textbooks and lectures, calls and assignments, having little or no time for myself. These can be so draining but outside of my studies, I have a deep passion for creativity and self-expression.
Throughout my life as a young girl, I've always had a variety of interests and hobbies. I've tried my hands at everything from sports to music to art, but I never quite found my niche. Although I observe that I derive some sort of satisfaction from drawing, cooking at will..lol.. ,baking and trying out new recipes. However, in all, I'll still say that medicine is my passion 🤗
As a medical student, I've learned the importance of taking breaks and engaging in activities that bring me joy. For me, those activities are drawing and baking. And let's be honest, I'm better at creating masterpieces in the kitchen than I am at creating them on paper,although I'm good, better than most people at least😂
But one thing I excel at is sleeping😂. I mean..i could sleep for days if you let me but medical school wants to spoil my sleeping career😂. As someone who values the importance of self-care and rest, I always make sure to prioritize getting enough sleep on the nights I can. It's amazing what a difference a good night's sleep can make in terms of mental clarity, physical well-being, and overall happiness yunno. And if there's a way to incorporate sleeping into my medical studies, sign me up!..lol
I also love having fun outdoor and spending time with friends, mostly my girlfriends. And Oh!! they are amazing.
It'll also interest you to know that I'm a beautifully versatile being. I try to find joy in anything I do and wherever I find myself. Mind you, I also got a lot of goofiness to share😁
And when I'm not sleeping or studying or doing the rest of my stuff, I love to connect with others who share my interests. I believe that socializing and building connections is crucial to success, both personally and professionally. That's why I'm thrilled to have found Hive, where I can connect with people from all over the world who have a passion for creativity and community.
