Hi friends, it's been a while have been active on this blockchain and this post to be precise has been pending for a while now, all because I fell ill but now am back so be expecting more of me now 😁😁.
Well as stated earlier in my previous post, my school is currently on strike and here is what I have been up to since then.
It's been nearly 3months plus that the strike has been ongoing and I have decided to not go home 🙃, so I stayed in school to know how it feels to be independent and I tell you it's ain't been easy.
So most of my friends have vacated the school premises and gone home to their respective houses and have been left alone, while some had a choice to go home some didn't cause my school run a 2 system hostel accommodation.
- Campus hostel: which is the hostel within the school premises and the
- Off-Campus school hostel: which is off school premises as the name states
So those within the school premises had no choice but to go home cause it was an order given by the school and you dare not defile that, and while the off-campus hostelites (also known as does who lived in a hostel) pretty much had a choice, so a lot of the left while a few stayed.
So here I am in school learning life, and knowing how to handle myself. Well we all know to survive we have to make money to get what we need.
So I set out to earn money and life has been a little kind, I got my first internship program in which I earn a little from (check out my previous post to know I got in and how the experience had been so far ) and so far so good it's been great. And I am also a graphic designer and have been doing some remote jobs which it's also fetching a little cash though this is not consistent, here also on hive I am getting paid for blogging 🥰🥰, so for now I will say its been going kinda great, even though my hive needs more work cause recently, have not been earning.
That aside school has been a better sweet experience, cause when it newly started it was great. After all, you know that feeling waking up in the morning and knowing there isn't going to be school trouble today is just priceless. So you just wake up have breakfast and then probably watch a movie, and just enjoyed your day .for the first few weeks it was heaven on earth until I got bored of the life🥲, to make things worst the hostel where I stay and its surroundings developed electrical issues which are yet to be resolved cause of the less population of students in school currently in the area.
So now my hostel has to be on fuel which is very costly or I move over to my friend's hostel when we are out of fuel. And now I am just getting frustrated 😠 .
But so far school has just been twisted. And mostly I am just out with a friend or at home sleeping 😴 and bored hoping they end the strike soon. Well this is just my basic life in school.
