Greetings to you all. I am a newbie and I came in through the #inleo frontend.
Born as Adeyombo Adeola Adetoun by late Mr Adesanmi Aderemi Adeyombo and Abosede Egbedoyin of the Giesi rulling house of Wanisanni compound of Okerewe street in Ile-ife Osun state inNigeria.
I had a rough primary education history but I am ready to take you through it. I was left by my mother for my paternal grand mother to raise, so I was always on the move as my grand mother was.
As a child,i had my first school experience at Ayetoro primary school Ile-Ife and other primary schools in Ibadan and Lagos respectively.
For secondary education, I attended Mount Olivert Grammar School Bodija, Ibadan as a junior student and Ikotun Comprehensive College Ikotun, Lagos for senior secondary education and I graduated with the class of 2016.
Four years later, I obtained a teaching certificate in one of the colleges of education in Lagos state and the rest is history.
Presently, I go by the name Mrs Yusuf Adeola Adetoun. I wish I had the knowledge I have now about change of name, I would have left my father's name and change my other name.
Yes you read that right not because of regrets but because my father's name comes with a sense of belonging and it's filled with a lot of historical movements.
For travel, I have been to some parts of Western Nigeria like Ijebu, Ore, Ibadan, Akure and Ekiti. I have also been to Abuja and my trip to Abuja was one of my dreadful one. Dreadful because I embarked on the trip during presidential election period when the fate of Nigeria as a nation was to be decided and the masses where afraid of a looming war.
I look forward to traveling to other countries in the future to experience different cultura ,taste different foods, visit different tourism places, meet new people and if possible make new friends.
Presently, I live in Badagry area of Lagos State and I have been to different tourist places in Badagry like the Slave trade museum, Gberefu island, point of no return, Qbrat zoo, first school in Nigeria, first story building in Nigeria, the well of forgetfulness, the Sultan beach amongst others.
It is believed that the place I come from (Ile-Ife) is the origin of the Yoruba tribe and we have some evidence to this effect like statue of some traditional deities like the statue of Baba sigidi, Oranmiyan and staff, ile Oduduwa, Moremi statue and many more.
It is also believed that everyday of the year is dedicated to one deity or the other, so as such our celebrations are usually round the year though some of these deities are celebrated with small occasion and some are celebrated in a grand style.
Example of deity with elaborate celebration is Olojo festival which takes place at Oke Mogun where our king wears a special kind of crown called Ade Aare with which he is expected to pray for peace and progress for the people and the city as a whole.
Why hive
When I first heard about hive from@beckyroyal, I thought it was nothing serious but she keeps on telling me about the benefits of hive and how I stand a chance of meeting new people and possibly form new relationships.
Also I am a person who loves to learn new things and I believe that my being on this platform would broaden my knowledge scope.
I also love to tell stories and share experience. So you all should watch out for my good stories. I promise they will be entertaining.
I am optimistic about the fact that I will gain new grounds and experiences here. I also beseech your guidance in navigating the block chain.
