Hello dear fellow ocd! A pleasure to greet you once again. Today I would like to tell you about how some time ago I escaped to Buenos Aires for 24 hours, a kind of flash experience that was not an impediment to getting to know some points of interest in this impressive city.
Lightning trip to Buenos Aires ⚡
It was September 2019 and I was working at a plant shutdown in Bahía Blanca, south of the province of Buenos Aires. The truth is that I had almost no time since, being a Plant Stop, I had to be in the plant 12 hours a day with only one day off a week.
However, with some ingenuity, I managed to get two consecutive days off to escape for a while and finally get to know the very popular Argentine capital.
The main objective of the trip was to attend the show of one of the most prestigious Venezuelan comedians of the moment: George Harris. I had bought the tickets months in advance and I couldn't miss it! So I got ready to take my 8-hour bus to CABA.
I was about 15 minutes late for the show, but it was still worth it and I laughed too much!!
Already to spend the night I had booked in a hotel near the theater. I needed to rest.
The next day I met with some Venezuelan friends who currently live in CABA and they offered to show me the city and we visited several interesting points, the most outstanding were:
The Recoleta Cemetery
With its ostentatious architecture and that heavy graveyard aura, this attraction contrasts the beautiful with the macabre. In this holy field lie the remains of great Argentine personalities and wealthy families of yesteryear.
A perfect example that beauty can be dark at the same time 🦇
The Japanese Garden
Beautiful colorful landscapes, nature at its best. A place to relax and enjoy a varied vegetation that transports us directly to a forest in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Floralis Generica
I couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit this emblematic work of art in Buenos Aires, so we passed by quickly and took the respective selfie for posterity!
Chinatown
Almost at the other end of the city we went to Chinatown and on the way I bought some sauces to prepare the "Venezuelan Chinese rice" that I miss so much.
Center, shopping malls and food fair
We had to eat so we went to a mall, we had fried chicken cravings, so we got carried away!
The truth is that in this city you can find practically anything, I even made a kamahameha in a comic shop!👀
Puerto Madero y el Puente de la Mujer!
One of the most exclusive areas of the capital, everything very organized and very beautiful, makes you want to stay and live there (later I see the commotion on the subway and it goes away)
I really enjoyed this trip, at nightfall I had to return to Bahía Blanca to continue with my work obligations, but without a doubt it was a great experience that left a good taste in my mouth and I will not hesitate to repeat it on a weekend!
