Introduction
Esteemed Hivians!
Brief Background
I am Kehinde Temitope Micheal. I am from Nigeria. I am about 3 decades old and I come from Okeho, a town in Oyo State of the country. Okeho is part of the towns that formed Oke-Oogun, a region or section that is believed to be the basket food of the state. In Nigeria, there are three predominant tribes, Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo. I belong to Yorùbá ethnic group.
I am a Twin— the second born Twin. In Yoruba tribe, the first born of the Twin is called "Taiwo" and the second is called "Kehinde". However, In Yoruba tribe, Kehinde is believed to be the elder brother because they are of the opinion that Kehinde sends Taiwo an errand to come and check the world if it good for them to come as at the time. Then Taiwo comes to check the world and then goes to deliver the message to Kehinde. You see, I am the elder brother😃. But in real sense, Taiwo came before me.
Education Background
As a child then, I had always find myself around machines, metals, bricks, ball bearing and all sort of Engineering tools or equipments. In fact, my passion for engineering is a direct consequence of my childhood experience in my brother shop. Then, my brother was learning welding works. Anytime I visited him, I would play with metals, iron etc. I was always curious to see how a blue flame from a machine could melt metals together. You know, then as a child, it was thrilling to see how he and his boss designed and coupled metals together until I had the privilege of studying Mechanical Engineering.
Seeing my passion and curiosity, my Sister in law advised me to study science in my high school, and I did. I had deep understanding of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, biology and Geography, and these subject set me off for engineering discipline.
After my high school, I left for Ogbomoso, a city in Oyo State, Nigeria where I spent 5 to 6 years for my undergraduate studies. I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. To the glory of God, I graduated as one of the best student in the department.
