Hello to all friends of OCD, I want to share with you a very important issue in which we are constantly seeing failures within some publications, the truth is that as a computer science student I have been taught that it is very important to respect copyright even more when we create content from them.

It is essential to take into account how relevant this topic is and to be very clear about what these terms mean in order not to incur in infractions such as plagiarism.
It is not only about complying with this rule, but also that as content creators, we must generate a level of trust from our readers in our content. Therefore, the importance of these aspects is highlighted.

It should be noted that there are many guides, videos on this topic, but even so we can see how there are constant failures in this topic and many people tend to use images such as from "Pinterest" news portal, or simply from third-party blogs.

Personally, I like to generate my own images from Canva, but there are sites where we can use images free of copyright, such as Pixabay, Pexel, Unsplash.
Regardless of the subject that we are addressing in our publications, it is of the utmost importance that we verify that the images used are free of copyright, so my recommendation is that if we are not sure if the images that we will use are free of copyright, we use alternatives where there are millions of images and vectors to use without any problem as already mentioned by Pixabay, Unsplash, Pexel.

There are specific things that we should know about this topic, or rather to clarify several points that generate confusion about the topic, for example.

What does it mean that an image has copyright? Well, this means very specifically that this image cannot be used without permission from the author, this simply means that we will not be able to use it because the author has not given permission.
Generally, if this is the case, it is always because in order to use this image we must pay for it.

There is a case in which failure is often resorted to, and they are the ā€œCCā€ or ā€œCreative Commonsā€ licenses where the authors under some rules allow the use of their creations on the condition that the credits are correctly awarded, that is, cite it correctly, and Many make the mistake of sharing the link from where they got it, but not the name of the author who created it. That is why I believe that we should not consider using them, nor should we consider them totally free.

In short, we must avoid falling into this practice and also avoid generating any kind of mistrust in our content, this not only applies to the creation of our blog, but it will also be useful in our educational training, since it is always good to give support to our investigations with authors, correctly cited.

By this I mean that we be very careful, because if we are not careful in what we do, we may be incurring an abuse and also violating copyright, in some cases this usually goes very wrong, so let's start our creativity.

I hope you like this theme that I brought you today! Greetings. Remember to leave your comment, whether you agree or not, we can provide feedback on this important topic.

I think this is one of the first things a content creator should be aware of. There have been many posts shared here about copyright infringement and plagiarism and itā€™s good that this valuable information keeps floating around.

I too like using my own images as much as possible. Iā€™m not sure if youā€™ve come across the Stock Images Community but the images provided there are from Hive artists. If interested you can check it out and see how it works and read their guidelines.

That's right, it is important that we keep highlighting the importance of this issue, and how important it is not to incur in this type of abuse. I find this community that you recommend very interesting, I will be informing myself of how it works, thanks for the support. Greeting. šŸ™

Great! I hope you can make use of its service ;)
