Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof... Ecclesiastes 7:8

I gained admission into the higher institution in the year 2017 and here I am today, a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering. The five years I spent in this institution have been a rollercoaster joy, pain, success and failure but I'm still standing strong.

There were nights when hunger made me doubt the believe that I'm a future leader, days when thoughts of giving up constantly crossed my mind, I have been threatened with carry overs by lecturers and school officers. Surviving those days and being where I am now will forever remain a miracle and I'm forever grateful.

A notable one was the time my departmental SIWES coordinator told me I'd carry the course over because of late submission of my logbook, unless my HOD wrote a letter. The HOD said he didn't have time and won't write the letter. After much persuasion and pleadings, he agreed and wrote the letter, I submitted the letter and the logbook was collected from me.

Another one was when a lecturer said anyone that had an E in his course, a final year course, had an F but he pushed them to E. When the result came out, I had an E. I have never been so happy about a bad result but I was, because on the day I wrote the exam I was down with malaria and couldn't read much. It had an effect on my result but then, it was better than an outright F.

But regardless of all the ups and downs, what kept me going is the dream I've had since I was child. The dream to become an Engineer kept me motivated and I'm step closer to my dreams. And at the end, that's all that matters.
