Good morning everyone in hive community
I'm Eucharia Bassey John by name but since a lot of people usually forget my name, I have a backup name known as ukpono meaning respect.
Let's dive in and talk about myself a little bit tryst me is going to be very fun...
First of all, you all know my name already, but my real name and my hive name will differ..... My Hive name is @leowhale....... I am a Nigerian too. I am from Abak Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State... I am the last child and the last daughter in the family of 6 therefore I am the overall last Born and I deserve baby girl treatment and life.
Well, I am a fine dark skinned girl not too tall and not too short, I'm normal...
Currently, I am in Uyo, undergoing my education at the University Of Uyo, Uyo. I am a 200 level direct entry student from abak, I am studying Physics Education in Faculty Of Education.
I won't lie, this degree has been on my neck...since I started I have known no peace of mind starting from one I was begging them for admission, and the bluntly refused to give me, I went to abak so that I can force myself in....... They finally accept and now they want to finish me alive But I won't give up, I keep forging forward.
MY SKILLS AND HOBBIES
Before I started university after my secondary school.... My mom suggested that I apply for a teaching job to avoid me staying idle at home.... But I won't lie I enjoyed staying at home with less worries.... After giving a thought, I decided to give a try..... I picked up sewing just to try oOoOO and I fell in love with it immediately, I started sewing and making most of my dresses myself and it was really an amazing time to spend to.....
I am also skilled in baking biscuits, cakes, small chops etc... My mom is a Baker and anything there were holidays, I usually follow my mom to her baking store to learn few things and now I can bake too..
Let me say we all have that one God given gift that you don't just have to learn, you just grew up seeing yourself do those things...... Yes I found myself know how to bread hair..... I have never gone to learn before but I can plaint hair excellently well without any form of training and this has helped my stayed in the hostel...... The little money I make from there is Worth it.
I love teaching too. I actually went for my teaching practice few months ago and it was amazing ...... In the process of going for my IT I met someone who told me so much about hive, I was surprised because as a students things like this usually entice us, I wanted to know more, I wanted learning new things .... She told me how hive has helped her in improving her way of writing and everything.... She enlightened me more and I didn't hesitate to find my way here.
I am very excited to be here on this platform , I started reading a lot of people articles already, I have joined some communities already but I know that I still have a lot to learn and I am ready.
WHY HIVE
To me hive a platform that teaching us a lot of things especially to expand our thinking mentality, it gives room for us to be perfect when it comes to writing and i want to explore the world of hive too. I want to use my holiday and develop myself through the use of hive..
Also, I want to meet other people all over the world and know more about other people culture and stuffs.... I want to really see myself grow in months to come...
I have read articles from the likes of @gloreal @fashtioluwa @oluwadrey @hopestylist @abenad and few others that I cannot remember their names since I'm new, with time I will get to know Them.
I want to really thank @fashtioluwa for helping me though with everything, he saw me roaming in hive like a sheep without owner and he put me through all I need to know..... I am really excited for this..... Thank you boss ❣️
Finally, I do not know anything or anyone here.... So I put a message across to everyone to help a sister, share knowledge with me and help me grow... I hope my stay here on hive is going to be an amazing wonderful one.... I hope it will worth my time. Thank you Hive for having me.
