A lot of normalities and abnormalities exist in this world, and due to the lack of paying proper attention to them, we humans often mix them up. And sometimes, we even go as far as adding our personal extra thoughts and judge based on sentiment.
An instance is when people assume that a certain form of closeness between two young people of the opposite sex means there must be romance going on somewhere. I can remember during my university days when a female friend of mine needed a place to stay and I took her in. She had issues with assessing the funds in her account and couldn't pay for her rent so she had to stay for a while.
I knew taking her in would definitely raise eyebrows and might consequently cause sidetalks from the neighbors and some friends, but yet I opted in. After all, all I am after is to be of an help to a friend who is truly in need. Even though it wasn't too convenient for me, all I cared about was the fact that I could do more to help her situation. And I did.
DO NOT LOOSE YOUR DRIVE TO ALWAYS SEEK FOR MORE
In economics, we were made to understand that the needs of a human are insatiable and hence he'll keep on searching for more, no matter how much he has. This shows us that naturally, we're wired to always ask and seek for more.
It's quite unfortunate that despite the fact that we always need more, many are unable to get it due to the fact that they've ran out of gas and they just end up getting frustrated and being too contented with being stagnant. While being contended with little isn't a bad thing, not doing anything to change the situation is.
You should never loose that thing that gets you going, that drive that has led you up to this point.
No matter who you are, you'll always desire to have more of some certain things which you currently own.
This varies per individual. It might be more money, more freedom, more fulfilment, more success, more clients, more friends, just something more.
You also have to know that wanting more requires you giving more. Finish a project knowing you gave it everything you had, leave no stone unturned.
In my own situation, the "more" I wanted, is just to be able to help the people around me and do it as much as I can.
I have come to observe that the more people around me I help, the more I get help from people I do not know.
Is there something you've been wanting more of? Just go after it, do the needful. Do what you ought to do to get your more. So long as it is something good and positive, you will have it some day.
Do more to get more. Do more because you can.
