Always Grateful For The Gift Of Life

in #hive-1745783 years ago

Hello people,

As much as we are alive and healthy, it is very important that we need to be grateful to God for all that we have even if it does not look like much. Regardless of how it may seem, if we are alive and well, we need to be thankful. This is because, these days it does not take much for you to be hurt or severely sick. Cancer as we know it can take charge at any given point in time.

One thing that brought everyone's attention to this was probably the year 2020. Where we didn't know if we were going to wake up the next day or we were going to be battling for our lives the next few weeks due to chronic pains from being infected by the disease.

Whatever be the case, we must learn to appreciate the fact that we are rather part of the fortunate ones who were lucky to have survived these waves of pandemics.

It seems human beings only go to God for help when they hit rock bottom. It is simply within our nature. Do people even remember ebola or guinea worm. The kind of damage these diseases can do to you are simply beyond imagination. But God in His own wisdom has sheltered us from them.

Some of our friends and people we started this journey with are no longer with us. Some were engaged in accidents, sicknesses, poor life choices and ended up dead. That does not mean we are better than them or we deserve to be alive more than they are.

It is simply through the favor of God.

We must therefore be grateful for the little things of life as they are great blessings in disguise. Thank you very much.
