Hi everyone, my name is Esther Chukwuemeka, I am from Delta state, Ika North East to be precise I was introduced to hive by @kilvnrex who happens to be my best buddy. I have heard a lot about hive and of course good things. I am happy to be writing my first post here, writing for me is such an amazing way to share my thoughts and ideas plus an avenue to express myself. Thank God for this opportunity. I am ready to live my dreams as a writer, not just a writer but a prolific writer.
Writing isn't just what I do, it is what I love doing, a part of who I am and who I want to be a writer. And I hope my writing makes meaning to others, not just meaning to them but help them.
Born on the 12th of April, I am a student of the department of mass communication, a book lover, and a storyteller.
Apart from being a writer, I'm also an On-Air-Personnel (OAP) in a radio station as an intern. Growing up I've always wanted to be a writer and also read law, but according to a Nigerian meme I once saw "u go de plan life, life go de plan u"🤧
I have written quite a number of books that were never published 😊 I felt bad, did I tell you that I love to read books? Oh well, I do, ranging from magazines, newspapers, story books, journals, pamphlets, etc.
I remember clearly when I asked my mum for money to buy a storybook and she said no money. I cried because I felt she was wicked, that's to show you how I love reading books. Now I want to read law like I said "you go de plan life life de plan you" I later applied for mass communication due to many issues I was so bent on reading law if not law nothing else that was my motto. Here I am in Niger delta university studying mass communication and I'm loving it. Presently I'm an intern/worker in a radio station, lest I forget I'm from a family of eight(8) my parents (3)three boys, and three(3) girls which oftentimes I do brag about the way and sequence my family is formed.
Working in a radio station is fun for me as I get to interact with different people with different opinions and different races.
I am a social person although sometimes it seems otherwise, I have my friends who support me in every step I take. Of course, @kilvnrex is one of them, an amazing set of people. As for religion I am a Christian basically from a Christian home, I believe in God, morality, values, and ethics. I am from Nigeria and Nigeria is a country with rich and diverse cultures. I hope for the best to be able to write about my rich culture. I look forward to awakening and improving my writing skills. I also look forward to interacting and familiarizing with you all 😊.
