But may get pissed some people off.
People tend to view the world from their own perspectives. Some are consistently optimistic, while others tend to be more pessimistic. Some approach the world objectively. I find myself somewhere in between.
The world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Yes, there are beautiful things like trees, cute animals, flowers, butterflies, sunshine, and water. However, there are also challenges like poisonous plants, predators, annoying weeds, parasites, droughts, tsunamis, and political issues like the Polish government with the PIS party in charge, which some say is working for our well-being. But I digress; this won't turn into a political rant.
I don't aim to convince anyone about the existence or non-existence of a god. Each person should decide for themselves if they believe in a higher power.
If you do - good for you!
you can attribute blame to that entity, hoping it might intervene. Perhaps it'll spark more conflicts, natural disasters, or plagues, or further divide people. Or, from my perspective, even if a god exists, it probably doesn't concern itself with us. It's not a loving, all-knowing being; it's more like a force of nature—akin to gravity, a magnetic field, or light—indifferent to anyone or anything. It set the simulation in motion, and we'll see how it plays out.
In my view, there's no need to pray or express gratitude to this simulation. Gravity doesn't require thanks for keeping us grounded, and you don't have to apologize for eating pork. Lightning hitting your neighbor's house instead of yours doesn't hinge on prayer. Don't worry about going to hell for not paying alimony.
You can't hope or be certain that praying will make a difference. If that were the case, everyone would win the lottery. But it wouldn't change anything; life's costs would just rise.
If you truly believe that praying will make you a winner, by all means, go ahead, but instead of praying,
Don't pray, just play the lottery
You have a better chance of winning than praying it out.
In my opinion, instead of praying, Start doing something good. But not for everyone. Only for one person. And only if he asks for it. He may not want help at all.
Start with yourself.
But only if you want.
And let's be clear, prayer alone won't work.
