I am Sodiq Oladiti. The last son of a family of Eleven children, the only child that have the goal of keeping the heritage of his father(career wise).
My father is a building contractor who started the career as a bricklayer, then he finally got deep into construction.
So, growing up, I developed interest in construction careers, so I decided to keep the legacy in the family. Though, my father never talked about it, I just grew up the interest myself, which the love keep increasing. So I decided to do it better, I got admission into Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Nigeria, to study Quantity Surveying in 2014, where I acquired my National Diploma(ND) and Higher National Diploma(HND) certificate.
It won't be nice if I skipped this part of me.Yes I'm also a sport man, a Tae-kwon-do player to be precised and that is where i met @moremoney28, we were both childhood friends and also Tae-kwon-do players, he introduced me to this great platform and how interesting it is to him, I picked up the interest by joining this great platform and I hope I'm welcome.
I once represented my institution (Federal Polytechnic, ilaro) in a Tae-kwon-do championship competitions (NIPOGA), and I was the captain as during 2018-2019 academic session back then in school. I'm also a football player, the institution captain in volleyball, 2018/2019 academic session,a volleyball coach for female team during my NYSC camp. In a nutshell I'm multi talented when it's comes to sport.
Back to my career pursuit, I got employed for my first Job with a company called Crayruns System Solution Limited Nov 2020. I was working as a System engineer. We repair, install and maintain Automated Teller Machine(ATM), I got the skill after a 2 weeks training instead of 4 week. I did the job until Feb 2022. Then I got my current Job with BT Technologies Ltd. I am working as a Design engineer due to my knowledge in Autocad, the company is a telecommunication company where I keep learning more on the job, mind you, I am learning on my own, because I met no design engineer in the company, that's a story for another day.
Moreover, I am currently not in line with the career I chose, which is construction line, I really wish to, but I haven't got the opportunity to. So I have applied to study more in construction, I applied to study Construction Management in Teesside University, Middlesbrough. And I have been given conditional offer.
So for now, I will love to be sharing information concerning Telecommunication, CAD design, sport, relationships, General life and challenges, and Construction matter in general on this platform.
