Assalamu Alaikum. OCD community members, hope everyone is well. Today I will present to you day laborer's story . Let's begin.
Rahim lives in a small house on the outskirts of the city. He is a day laborer by profession. Every day he gets up before the sun rises. He went out in search of work with a bag on his back and a spade in his hand.
Rahim's life is not easy. Sometimes he works in a brick kiln, sometimes in a paddy field, and sometimes in a construction site. At the end of the day, he returns home with a sweaty body. Most of the money that is earned goes to meet the needs of the family. He works day and night to pay the school fees of his younger sons and daughters and to buy medicine for his old mother.
One day Rahim met with an accident while working at a construction site. His left leg was injured. I have to stop working for a while. But due to lack of money, he had to return to work after a week. Adversity cannot stop him. He has only one dream - that his children get educated and get a better life.
Rahim's story is not just his; This story is about thousands of day laborers in the country. They build the country's economy with their hard-earned labor. Yet they remain on the fringes of society. Behind their smiling faces are hidden stories of endless sacrifices and struggles.
One day, Rahim's son stands first in his first school examination. Rahim's eyes are filled with joy at his son's success. At that moment, all his troubles became worthwhile. He thinks this is the biggest reward of his life.This story reminds us that no matter how hard life is, anything is possible with the courage to dream and hard work.
