Mi Historia / My Story
Les mando un saludo a toda la comunidad de Hive mi nombre es Jorge Enrique Casadiego Bonilla nací el 10 de Agosto del año 1995 en Venezuela en la ciudad de Maracay, Estado Aragua les trataré de resumir como ha sido mi vida. Mi núcleo familiar está compuesto por mi madre, mi padre y tengo 3 hermanos.
Desde que era un niño siempre me gustaron los deportes, ver anime y los videojuegos realmente pasaba gran parte de tiempo jugando, a diario esperaba ansioso la salida de la escuela para poder jugar con mi consola de juegos, entre mis juegos favoritos están los relacionados a estrategias y batallas como por ejemplo Yu-gi-oh.
En el ámbito académico desde que estudiaba en la escuela demostraba ser un estudiante sobresaliente, luego en el bachillerato seguía teniendo un buen rendimiento estudiantil, para realizar mis tareas contaba con la ayuda de mi madre y mi hermana mayor hasta que mi hermana decide irse de nuestra casa para construir su propia vida, al poco tiempo ocurre la separación de mis padres ocasionando que mi madre decidiera irse de la casa entonces mi hermano menor y yo teníamos que tomar la decisión de irnos con mi madre o quedarnos en nuestra casa junto a mi hermano mayor y mi padre que mayormente pasaba la mayor cantidad de tiempo trabajando como taxista en la ciudad de Caracas.
Mi hermano menor decidió irse con mi madre y yo me quede con mi hermano mayor en la casa de Maracay, esto afecto mi rendimiento académico porque ya no contaba con el apoyo que me brindaban mis familiares. Además estaba en la etapa complicada de la adolescencia podría decirse que era un rebelde ya no me importaba tener buenas calificaciones o asistir a clases, por si fuera poco me convertí en una persona muy floja dormía mucho, todo eso repercutió tanto que cuando estaba cursando el último año del bachillerato aplacé 4 materias cosa que jamás había ocurrido anteriormente.
Uno de los momentos mas importantes de mi vida fue cuando tenia que decidir que carrera profesional me gustaría estudiar, como los deportes siempre han sido una de mis mejores destrezas y pasiones elijo como primera opcion estudiar Educación Física, segunda opción Informática, entre otras posibles carreras, era tan joven y con tanto por aprender que desconocía que había seleccionado Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL), entonces había elegido ser estudiante para llegar a ser profesor de Educación Física, la docencia requiere de vocación, es decir, debes amar enseñar, formar a la nueva generación quienes serán el futuro del país y en ese entonces no sabía la importancia de esa profesión.
Al graduarme de bachiller tenía que esperar unos meses hasta que llegara la fecha de inscripción para intentar ingresar a la Universidad, entonces mi padre me propone que aproveche ese tiempo libre estudiando para tener una mejor preparación, de manera que me inscribo en un curso de Monitor deportivo en el Instituto Universitario de Tecnología “Juan Pablo Pérez Alfonzo” (IUTEPAL).
Mientras esperaba el día de la prueba física y posteriormente prueba vocacional para poder intentar ingresar a la UPEL, ocurrió otro acontecimiento que daría un giro a mi futuro, a diario acostumbraba jugar baloncesto en una cancha cerca de donde vivía y tuve un esguince en mi tobillo que fue un poco grabe hasta tenía que usar muletas. Sin embargo mi padre me llevo a la Universidad y me presenté para explicar el motivo por el cual no podía realizar la prueba física y la respuesta que me dieron fue la siguiente: “como no estás en condiciones para presentar la prueba física solo te queda realizar la prueba vocacional en la otra especialidad que seleccionaste (Informática) y posteriormente al aprobar una cierta cantidad de materias si lo deseas podrás solicitar el cambio de especialidad”, como por si fuera poco debido a la lesión que tuve no pude culminar el curso de Monitor Deportivo.
Finalmente llega el dia de presentar la prueba vocacional y logré ingresar a la UPEL Maracay, de manera simultánea me inscribo en un curso de Inglés básico, intermedio y avanzado en la Academia Americana para poder tener mayor facilidad al estudiar Informática, dado que tienen relación porque la mayoría de los contenidos a estudiar se encuentran disponibles principalmente en ese idioma, dicho curso tenía una duración de año y medio el cual si logré culminarlo. Además debo confesar que en ese momento mi conocimiento sobre el área de Informática era literalmente cero, ni siquiera tenía redes sociales, me daba hasta vergüenza ir a un cyber a investigar porque no sabía hacerlo.
Sin embargo tenía todas las ganas de aprender al respecto, en mi primer semestre en la Universidad cursé 5 materias, en general se me hizo muy difícil aprobarlas era una gran diferencia el nivel de dificultad comparado con el bachillerato el resultado que tuve fueron calificaciones bajas e incluso reprobé 1 materia que por si fuera poco era relacionada a la especialidad directamente, lo cual podría ocasionar que me tomara más tiempo poder graduarme, debido a la prelación que tienen las materias. Sin embargo no me desmotivé, al contrario decidí esforzarme mucho más para que esto no volviera a suceder.
Al momento de ingresar a la universidad cursaba todas las materias en el turno de la tarde y en algunas ocasiones culminaba la jornada a altas horas de la noche, realmente era fascinante estudiar áreas como Filosofía, Sociología, etc. Así como también las materias relacionadas a la Informática y me gustó tanto que cuando logré aprobar las materias necesarias para poder solicitar el cambio de especialidad, no lo hice decidí quedarme estudiando Informática.
Afortunadamente tuve una mejoría progresiva en mis calificaciones, a tal nivel de llegar a ser uno de los mejores estudiantes de mi matricula, luego cuando estaba cursando los últimos semestres de la carrera, en mi país se complicaba la situación estaba transitando probablemente el peor momento de su historia en todos los ámbitos en general, entonces se dificultaba demasiado el poder continuar estudiando incluso ocasionó que varios de mis compañeros abandonaran sus estudios. Yo continué porque quería graduarme, soy de esas personas que da el 100% y un poco más, tuve que cursar materias en doble turno para poder lograrlo lo más pronto posible, tenía la fortuna de que mis gastos mis gastos económicos los cubría mi padre y yo solo pensaba en graduarme para posteriormente tener un trabajo y así poder retribuirle su ayuda y así poder independizarme.
Luego al convertirme en uno de los mejores estudiantes de mi especialidad obtuve una beca por un año otorgada por la Fundación Marcano, la cual era realmente “generosa” económicamente y era algo que no me esperaba dado que yo no la solicité, realice mi investigación y ciertamente la Fundación Marcano tiene un sistema mediante el cual solicitan a varias Universidades de Maracay los mejores índices académicos de cada especialidad y entonces fue de gran ayuda para mí podía cubrir mis gastos personales.
Finalmente llega el día en que logré graduarme como Profesor en la especialidad de Informática con un índice de egreso un poco por encima de los 9 puntos, de manera que podría haberme graduado con honores sino fuera por la única materia que aplacé en el primer semestre. Justamente con la beca obtenida de la Fundación Marcano pude pagar el 50% del costo del Acto Solemne de Grado (el cual era realmente costoso) y el otro 50% me lo pago mi hermana mayor.
Fueron 5 de años de estudio, esfuerzo, responsabilidad y trabajo duro, pasando las adversidades y no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho, ingresé sin conocimiento alguno relacionado a la Informática hasta lograr egresar como uno de los mejores estudiantes de mi matrícula.
Posteriormente busqué mi primer trabajo en una institución escolar privada, en la cual trabajé por un par de lapsos pero no contaban con laboratorio de Informática y solo tenían 2 vacantes entre las cuales terminé seleccionando Inglés, realmente mi experiencia en la institución fue poco agradable, el personal laboral de la institución era muy poco entonces a los profesores nos delegaban muchas horas de disciplina a la semana para vigilar el comportamiento de los estudiantes en horas de receso.
Fue el momento en que me dí cuenta de lo complicado que es tener la responsabilidad de enseñar a unos 35 estudiantes por sección en su etapa más difícil de adolescencia, no me sentía a gusto con mi trabajo, tal vez no nací para ello, de tal manera que ya tenía planificado dejar mi trabajo al finalizar el lapso académico, luego aparece la pandemia mundial que complicaba aún más la situación porque era necesario implementar la educación a distancia y para nadie es un secreto que la conectividad a internet es muy deficiente en mi país.
Desde ese momento tuve que buscar la manera de conseguir un trabajo y la mejor opción que creí conveniente fue la de trabajar por cuenta propia aplicando mis conocimientos en el área de Informática, básicamente trabajos técnicos.
En Septiembre del año 2021 consigo un juego NFT llamado Splinterlands que es un juego de cartas coleccionables e intercambiables, el cual me ha gustado mucho, puedo destacar que tiene una comunidad muy sana. Además gracias a ese juego he ido aprendiendo acerca de criptomonedas y tecnología blockchain, espero poder publicar lo que he aprendido en ese juego para ayudar a otros usuarios que lo necesiten, para no alargarme más les agradezco haber leído mi presentación.

Since I was a child I always liked sports, watching anime and video games, I really spent a lot of time playing, every day I was anxiously awaiting the end of school to play with my game console, among my favorite games are those related to strategies and battles such as Yu-gi-oh.
In the academic field since I was studying in school I showed to be an outstanding student, then in high school I continued having a good student performance, to do my homework I had the help of my mother and my older sister until my sister decided to leave our house to build her own life, Shortly after my parents separated, my mother decided to leave home, so my younger brother and I had to make the decision to go with my mother or stay at home with my older brother and my father who spent most of his time working as a cab driver in Caracas.
My younger brother decided to go with my mother and I stayed with my older brother at home in Maracay, this affected my academic performance because I no longer had the support that my relatives gave me. I was also in the complicated stage of adolescence, it could be said that I was a rebel, I no longer cared about having good grades or attending classes, to make matters worse I became a very lazy person, I slept a lot, all this affected me so much that when I was in my last year of high school, I put off 4 subjects, something that had never happened before.
One of the most important moments of my life was when I had to decide which professional career I would like to study, as sports have always been one of my best skills and passions, I chose as first option to study Physical Education, second option Computer Science, among other possible careers, I was so young and with so much to learn that I did not know that I had selected Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL), then I had chosen to be a student to become a Physical Education teacher, teaching requires vocation, that is, you must love to teach, train the new generation who will be the future of the country and at that time I did not know the importance of that profession.
When I graduated from high school I had to wait a few months until the enrollment date to try to enter the University, then my father suggested me to take advantage of that free time studying to have a better preparation, so I enrolled in a course of Sports Monitor at the University Institute of Technology "Juan Pablo Perez Alfonzo" (IUTEPAL).
While I was waiting for the day of the physical test and later the vocational test to try to enter the UPEL, another event happened that would turn my future, I used to play basketball daily in a court near where I lived and I had a sprain in my ankle that was a little serious and I even had to use crutches. However my father took me to the University and I presented myself to explain the reason why I could not take the physical test and the answer they gave me was the following: "as you are not able to take the physical test you can only take the vocational test in the other specialty you selected (Computer Science) and then to approve a certain number of subjects if you wish you can request a change of specialty", as if that were not enough due to the injury I could not complete the course of Sports Monitor.
Finally the day comes to present the vocational test and I managed to enter the UPEL Maracay, simultaneously I enrolled in a course of basic, intermediate and advanced English at the American Academy to have greater ease to study Computer Science, since they are related because most of the contents to study are available mainly in that language, the course had a duration of a year and a half which if I managed to complete it. I must also confess that at that time my knowledge about the area of Computer Science was literally zero, I did not even have social networks, I was even ashamed to go to a cyber to investigate because I did not know how to do it.
However I had all the desire to learn about it, in my first semester at the University I took 5 subjects, in general it was very difficult for me to pass them, it was a big difference in the level of difficulty compared to high school, the result I had were low grades and I even failed 1 subject that was directly related to the specialty, which could cause me to take more time to graduate, due to the priority that the subjects have. However, I did not get discouraged, on the contrary, I decided to try harder so that this would not happen again.
When I entered the university I studied all the subjects in the afternoon shift and sometimes I finished the day late at night, it was really fascinating to study areas such as Philosophy, Sociology, etc. As well as subjects related to Computer Science and I liked it so much that when I managed to pass the necessary subjects to be able to apply for a change of major, I decided to stay studying Computer Science.
Fortunately I had a progressive improvement in my grades, to such a level that I became one of the best students of my enrollment, then when I was studying the last semesters of my career, the situation in my country was complicated, it was going through probably the worst moment of its history in all areas in general, then it was very difficult to continue studying even caused several of my classmates to abandon their studies. I continued because I wanted to graduate, I am one of those people who gives 100% and a little more, I had to take subjects in double shifts to achieve it as soon as possible, I was fortunate that my expenses were covered by my father and I only thought about graduating to later have a job and thus be able to repay his help and thus be able to become independent.
Then when I became one of the best students in my specialty I obtained a scholarship for a year granted by the Marcano Foundation, which was really "generous" economically and it was something that I did not expect since I did not request it, I did my research and certainly the Marcano Foundation has a system by which they request to several Universities of Maracay the best academic indexes of each specialty and then it was a great help for me to cover my personal expenses.
Finally the day arrived when I managed to graduate as a Professor in the specialty of Computer Science with a graduation rate a little above 9 points, so that I could have graduated with honors if it were not for the only subject that I failed in the first semester. It was precisely with the scholarship obtained from the Marcano Foundation that I was able to pay 50% of the cost of the Solemn Act of Graduation (which was really expensive) and the other 50% was paid by my older sister.
They were 5 years of study, effort, responsibility and hard work, overcoming adversities and I do not regret having done it, I entered without any knowledge related to Computer Science until I graduated as one of the best students of my enrollment.
Later I looked for my first job in a private school, in which I worked for a couple of periods but they did not have a computer lab and only had 2 vacancies among which I ended up selecting English, really my experience in the institution was not very pleasant, the staff of the institution was very few then we teachers were delegated many hours of discipline a week to monitor the behavior of students during recess hours.
It was the moment when I realized how complicated it is to have the responsibility of teaching about 35 students per section in their most difficult stage of adolescence, I did not feel comfortable with my job, maybe I was not born for it, so I had already planned to leave my job at the end of the academic term, then the global pandemic appeared which further complicated the situation because it was necessary to implement distance education and it is no secret that internet connectivity is very poor in my country.
From that moment on I had to look for a way to get a job and the best option I thought was to work as a freelancer applying my knowledge in the IT area, basically technical work.
In September 2021 I get a NFT game called Splinterlands which is a collectible trading card game, which I really liked, I can highlight that it has a very healthy community. Also thanks to that game I have been learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, I hope to publish what I have learned in that game to help other users who need it, not to lengthen more I thank you for reading my presentation.
