Good day, Hive! I am a newbie on Hive. I am a passionate writer and storyteller. I love to talk about my experiences and the lessons I've learned from them.
Let me start by introducing myself.

My name is Toluwani Hannah. I love my first name so much because it's as if my mother knew what I would be passionate about before giving me that name, as I am very passionate about God and everything that revolves around Him. I grew up knowing that the meaning of my name is "God's own." Indeed, I am God'own, and I feel blessed to have such a beautiful name.
I was born into a family of eight, and I am the seventh child. However, among my mother's children, I am the third. That is to say, my father had two wives, and sometimes I regret being born into a polygamous family. Well, we don't fight, but there has always been a feeling of resentment. As we children grew up, we learned to embrace love for each other because we couldn't continue fighting our mothers' battles. Above all, love is the greatest thing.

When I was still a secondary school student, I used to think that life was a bed of roses. I had everything planned out in my head, until life happened to me. I fell sick, and during that time, I felt down, useless, and meaningless. The pain was unbearable for me to withstand. I cried so much and prayed for God to heal me. And God came through for me. This experience made me realize that no one deserves to be in pain, no one deserves to go through suffering because pain is truly agonizing. So whenever I see anyone in pain, I love to encourage them and pray with them, helping them overcome their pains.

I am a certified business administrator. Ever since my teenage years, I have been passionate about owning my own business because I dislike spending all my precious time in exchange for money every day. I want to be my own boss and have time for myself. This mindset has given me the opportunity to sit and think on my own about how to improve my business.

Just last month, I finished my NYSC. NYSC stands for National Youth Service Corps. It was established by the Nigerian government to serve our fatherland for a year, oh! I have forgot to tell you I am from Nigeria, Oyo State to be precise. NYSC help in giving us work experience and fostering unity among Nigerians. NYSC has helped me connect with new people, like my dear friend who introduced me to Hive. She saw my writing on my status and recommended this platform where I can further explore my writing skills. Thanks to @princessbusayo for telling me about Hive.
Now that I have shared a little about myself, let me briefly talk about my hobbies.
TEACHING
I love teaching, especially teenagers. I enjoy talking about my struggles and how I eventually overcame them. During my NYSC, I was delighted to be assigned to a school as it gave me the opportunity to teach.

BAKING
Baking is another passion of mine. I absolutely love it. I enjoy everything about baking and I always have a smile on my face while doing it. It has been a passion of mine since I was young, and I eventually went to learn it. I am so happy that I did. Baking is the addition of different ingredients to like flour, butter, sugar , baking powder e.t.c to create a delicious snacks like cakes, chinchin, doughnut e.t.c. Baking can be stressful at times especially when you don't have the required equipment like mixer , you have to use your hand to mix. As stressful as it is, it has been one of my passion.
WRITING AND READING
Writing and reading are activities I adore. By reading, I gain inspiration to write. Reading exposes me to new things and expands my vocabulary.
REASON WHY I JOIN HIVE
The reason I joined Hive is to connect with like-minded individuals, people who love writing and expressing their thoughts. I want to read about other people's experiences and share my own.
What I can contribute to Hive is sharing my experiences, especially how I overcame my struggles. I believe it will give others hope and encourage them. I am committed to providing valuable content to this platform.
Lastly, I would like to express my appreciation to my friend @Princessbusayo for introducing me to this wonderful platform. I met her during my service year, and this is one of the advantages of NYSC—to connect with new people. I want to thank her for her patience in explaining everything about this blog to me. Thank you so much.
