Hello, I heard about Hive from my friends @buezor and @justine619 and I thought to give it a try, signing up was easy. I’m so excited to be on this platform, it has being pretty easy to navigate through the App although i am still learning a lot about the app. I believe i won’t find it difficult navigating through in order to start sharing my thoughts with you guys.

My name is Ndubuisi Uchechi Assumpta, I'm 23 years, I’m from Nigeria the western part of Africa, I am a graduate of biology from the Niger Delta University which is Ranked Most Efficient University in the whole of Nigeria with about one hundred and thirteen (113) universities Nationwide.

I would say I’m an ambivert although growing up i was an introverted kid with a low self esteem. It was so difficult for me to relate with my peers in school and church. I derived pleasure in being creative indoors,I wasn’t a fan of reading, at my spare time while growing up I would always indulge in role plays, even when I read I never really liked reading books with so much pages such as novels, I preferred reading essays, articles or just a photographic data as well as solving puzzles I could get my hands on. I enjoyed watching movies and cartoons more(I’m sure you would now understand why I always had a thing for role play). I over came my low self esteem with help of my friend, my parents, going for inter school competitions( spelling bee’s, athletic relay competition) and also I was pretty good at writing compositions.

Being a Nigerian from one of the major ethnic groups(the Igbo’s) in the country made story telling easy for me because back then, we had visits to our grandma, during which she would speak about different stories of which most were fictions. For me there's no better platform for sharing one’s thought than this, because writing I believe is a way of expressing oneself, feelings at a moment and also life experiences. In Nigeria we have three (3) major ethnic groups, The Igbo’s, the Hausa’s and the Yoruba’s. The Igbo’s represents those from the Eastern part of the country, the Hausa’s are those from the Northern part of the country while the Yoruba’s are those from the Western part of the country. Although I’m from the Eastern part of the country, I grew up in the western part. I've always loved fiction and the near perfect details portrayed in the lives of their characters. My likes(hobbies) includes reading, writing, traveling, cooking, going to the movies, hanging out with friends like a get together and also shopping.

My participation in any of the community activities gives me a chance to make new friends, peers and also get acquainted with people, which would help not only to improve my writing skills but also enable me easily take on tasks that would prove tough. Also with time I'd like to try out a new niche, and I know it'll be fun and exciting and I look forward to it.
So far I’ve had an amazing time writing here on hive and I’ve also learnt new things here and developed new interest. I know I'll be able to write about a variety of topics and stories that would be viewed across vast majority of the society.
