Rain is a moment of respite in the scorching heat of Punjab. Though the official days of summer have ended but still the sun is still blazing with its full might and it becomes hard to endure it for a few seconds even outside. Global warming is the main factor behind such a long session of summer weather as the overall temperature of the world has increased breaking records every year.
And in all this rain plays the role of lavish food for a hungry person. Rain is the natural cooler and most efficient as well. A rain of 1 or two hours is enough for pleasant weather for the next two to three days. Every drop that touches the face, resuscitates the energy of the whole body.
Today it rained in my city and thinking it might be one of the last rains of monsoon, I took full advantage of it for amusement. This was after a monsoon spell and just kike a monsoon the sky was covered with dark fulminating clouds all of sudden and heavy rain started. I wandered on a vacant road in heavy rain. Many ones were to take shelter under the shade to protect themselves from rain and might be commenting on me as well saying “Mad boy” lol.
It was after much time that I took a shower in the rain and it was much freshening as well. The excitement and pleasure I had that time were no less than that of a kid who love to play in the rain. Due to my extra love for my mobile, I didn’t dare to bring my cell phone with me but when it stopped raining, I promptly went to my house to bring my cell phone as the scenery immediately after the rain was so enthralling.
