Introducing Aquatic Biota to Preschool Students, and Pictures of Insects

Hello friends, how are you all well today and hopefully we are all still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.

Sunday 3 October 2024, On this occasion I would like to show again some of the interesting images that I have talked about. There are three picture moments that I want to show today, namely the first is a picture taken by a company visiting the children where I work and they went on a field trip with their teachers. There are absolutely children who go here and they are quite happy to be able to see the fish in the pond.

Then for the second image display that I want to show, the following image is in the ponds where fish are kept and this is where I work. Usually during the day this place is quite hot because the location where the fish ponds are located here does not have large trees so that sunlight can penetrate directly to this location. At that time the sky was quite bright and if we captured images like this it would certainly be an extraordinary beauty that we could see with a photographic landscape view.

Then for the third image display that I want to show, it is a picture of one type of insect found in wild plants and this insect is brown in color and has a beautiful appearance and is quite interesting. He tried to take macro pictures of the insect and I think this insect is quite a Minang insect and he is not afraid of humans when we approach him.

Before I continue to discuss the picture that I have prepared, it would be a good idea for me to say my words of respect to all my friends wherever they are and hopefully the best will always be for not all. OK, friends, let's look at the pictures that I have prepared.

Before they visited here, I received a call from my co-worker that there were students arriving at the kindergarten level school in the area where you live. Their teacher has informed me and sent a letter to the place where I work, that there are students at their place who will visit here to see the biota in the fish farming pond here. Children like them, of course, when they see the fish in the pond, this is entertainment for them and they are also quite happy when they are given a little food in their hands and then the food is thrown into the pond where the fish are kept. We also taught the children about the body organs of fish and they were quite smart children and knew what the body organs were in the fish's body. We introduced several types of freshwater fish to them such as tilapia, goldfish and also catfish. When I took the catfish, of course I didn't let the children hold the fish because it was dangerous. It had sharp spines. Likewise with tilapia because it has sharp durian and I don't allow the children to touch the fish. As for goldfish, I allow them to be held either by the tail or other parts of the body because goldfish do not have sharp spines.

Had time to take several pictures of the natural beauty around the fish farming area. The land area where I work is more than 3 hectares, both land that has been made into a fish pond and also land that has been used as a building in that place. This place belongs to the North Aceh Regency government under the auspices of the maritime and fisheries service. This is the place to produce freshwater fish seeds such as goldfish, tilapia, catfish and several other freshwater fish. I have worked here for more than 4 years and this is also one of the centers where I have worked for quite a long time.

Then in the next step I will display a picture of an insect that has a beautiful appearance. First I saw this insect on the terrace of my house and then I took it and put it on wild plants and then I took a smartphone and then put an additional lens on the camera so I could take more detailed pictures of the animal.

OK, friends, those are some of the pictures that I can show you today and hopefully these pictures can entertain all my friends and make them beautiful pictures for us all. Thank you to all my friends who have given me encouragement and opportunities and see you again later in my next post.

Note, the words I wrote in this article are in Indonesian, and I first wrote them in the smartphone notes application section. Then to translate into English I used Google's help.
