Using symmetry in art is a technique often used to produce balance, harmony, and visual aesthetics. Symmetry is a mathematical concept in which an object or image has identical or proportional pattern or structure when divided into equal or identical parts.
Previously, I shared one of my collages using the Contrast Technique, aiming to separate two elements within a single frame with markedly different sizes.
This time, I'm trying out the symmetric technique in creating my collage. Using symmetry can help establish relationships between elements, placing them in parallel to create a unified and organized image. In addition, I experimented with using multiple colors on the canvas this time. I hope you enjoy it.
