Hello Everyone
In this post, I'll show you some small objects that I discovered this afternoon while looking for things to photograph. I took these pictures with a smartphone camera and an additional 100mm macro lens. A wasp perched on a leaf is the main topic of the macro photography I posted.
Macro photography is my new hobby, and it's an interesting thing I genuinely love doing. I'm very excited about taking photos of small objects because it takes a lot of effort and precision, especially when trying to photograph moving objects like insects and beetles.
The wasp I discuss in this post is a wasp moth with the name Amata huebneri - source which I accidentally found while looking for a beetle to be used as the object of today's photo.
At first glance, we might think that this wasp moth belongs to the same family as wasps or bees, whose stings can cause pain to other animals. However, this wasp only has a bee-like appearance, but it belongs to a different species and does not have a dangerous sting.
The body of this wasp is identical to a bee, with black and orange stripes; the difference is in the wings, which are shaped like butterfly wings. Aside from that, this wasp is distinguished by the presence of two antennae on its head, and it does not swarm like bees.
At first, I mistook this wasp for a swarming wasp with a painful sting when it landed on me, but it turns out that this type of wasp moth breeds in rice fields or other areas with green plants.
Hopefully my content today can be useful for all of us, and in the future, I hope I can share better photography content than before.
Thank You
