In his prelude to "Aus tiefer Noth schreiich zu dir" Marpurg uses the same procedure as in het oreluds to "Was Gott thut das ist wohlgetan" and "Von Gott will ich nicht lassen". The composition has a simple 3 part text, with the choral melody in the upper voice. The left hand plays the accompaniment, which not much more than elaborate the notes of the chord that the bass line indicates.
A nice detail in this composition is that the right hand not only plays the choral melody, but also participates in the short interludes between the phrases of the choral melody. It is little details like this that make the writing of Marpurg more than just following a receipe or an exercise in connecting the dots. The first interlude creates a strong upward motion in the music. As such it is a nice characterisation of the first line of text of the choral "aus tiefer Noth schreich zu dir": "from the depths I call to you"
The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradisi, of the Schnittger organ in the St. Martini-kerk, Groningen (https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/organs/netherlands/groningen-st-martini.html).
