This is an unconventional update. Forget normal. Normal is boring. If I structured this the same way every week it would be boring to read. And boring to write.
So here's a summary of how last week went:
Good:
Every day except Thursday I did over 12K steps. Saturday, over 21K!
Every day except Thursday I did either a recorded walk or (high cadence) run of 2km or more. 🙌
Bad:
Because I was very actively job hunting this last week the deliberate strength training that I was so diligently and enthusiastically doing the week prior went out the window. I did 2 or 3 small things on two days for the whole week. 🤦♀️
Ugly:
The undersides of my feet after I ran parkrun barefoot on Saturday and walked around that local town were pretty ugly!! Haha.
That's what comes to mind when I think about ugly for this week. Nothing I did was awful. My feet held up well to the task and have forgiven me for thrashing them. 👣
This week is off to a better start already with the tapping walking and the re-committing to strength work each day as I cycle through: upper body ➡️ core ➡️ lower body each day.
Wish me luck! 🙏
