What better way to start a long weekend, than smashing out the weekly long run.
Treated myself to some new runners, as extra motivation to bump the km’s up. Gave them a whirl this morning, felt pretty comfortable for a first hit out in them.
Speaking of treats, treated myself to one of these bad boys this morning. Definitely gets you humming.
Also started fuelling for the first time, as I’m starting to work my way into uncharted territory in terms of distance over the next few months.
What’s everyone’s experience with fuelling? 30-60g carbs an hour? What works best for you in longer distance runs?
