Description from Strava:
We are back in Northumberland again and so I had to do the parkrun for the third time. It was a little chilly with the wind coming off the sea. People were huddled at the start with a guy shouting that others should get out of their cars. It's all good humoured.
The first stretch is flat, but I tried not to go off too quick as I knew the 'slight incline' was coming. It is a bit of a climb and you have to do it twice. I just tried to keep going. You run around at the top before heading back down. The second lap starts by the finish.
It was not too bad, but my slowest here. It was quicker than last week on my flat local run. I needed a coffee to warm me up. It's a good way to start the weekend.
Run free.
