Yup! That’s me at the Hive Tech Conference. You’re probably wondering what exactly is making me stretch my neck like that of a giraffe. Well, that was me trying my best to capture all the exciting moments so I could update you all as promised( and I think I fulfilled my promise). I believe it is safe to name the Hive Tech Conference as the highlight of the month, March or one of the highlights at least. I could talk about the things I crocheted in March and all but if I’m being honest to myself, my month started when I went for the conference.
After the conference, I left to Accra for something else( don’t ask me what it was but just know it has something to do with Mr Anonymous. I just realized that I’ve kind of developed a relationship with you all to the extent that I don’t even hide things from you all anymore). I know I’ve named the conference as the highlight of the month but then personally, the most interesting things that happened to me in March were actually church related. Oh oh , how can I even skip Mr Anonymous.
Yes, I got to hangout with him for a while and we spoke a lot; things we look forward to and other normal stuff. Nothing serious. So before I talk about the church related things, I can’t skip the African games that happened in Accra-Ghana at the University of Ghana stadium. Of course, I even brought you guys an update but even if you don’t remember anything at all, I’m sure you haven’t forgotten the traffic the event caused in Ghana.
I’m not sure if I should talk about the “internet blackout” but it really did affect most of us and guess what?
As I’m talking to you now we don’t even light. What’s the point of having internet and not have light to charge the device you’ll use to access the internet? It’s not even a general problem, it’s just my house. You can imagine how painful it is to look around and see lights everywhere whiles we are in darkness.
Anyway, let’s talk about the church related stuff. I know this will make you laugh but my church related highlight for March was my new shoe and dress. All my church outfits for church in March were giving what they were supposed to give. All the church sessions were also really nice I’m not sure if it’s because we were heading towards Easter. Okay so let’s talk about Easter itself. I don’t think I did anything fun for Easter. The only time I wanted to go out was when my sister browned me.
In all, March wasn’t bad but it’s sad that April is starting on a bad note with us not having light. My mood is even ruined and I really hope they fix it tonight if not I’ll have to leave this place.
