A community Aid, The Hive Ghana Project's Journey.

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." - Helen Keller.

A nation that triumphs over stagnation is one that has it's citizens contributing towards national growth, in every way possible. A societal excellence is not one man's Job description. Government and citizens are key players in a nation's success . When an individual, group or society takes it up themselves to positively change lives, it takes the nation a step closer to victory.

The hive Ghana community led by @mcsamm, @collins together with the entire project team has depicted a true manifestation of humanitarian course. This has tremendously changed lives for the best. Since it is the mission of the community to continually transform lives, these are but a few suggestions to help spread their scoop.

Organizing Skill Training For The Willing

It is no secret that unemployment is seeded deeply in our country. That being said, there are communities that are hugely affected more by this than others.

Remote areas where the only source of livelihood is farming and related are typical examples. With the limited opportunities for jobs, the male youth having free time on their hands are likely to drown their sorrows in alcoholics. The female youth possibly to be trapped in teenage pregnancies.

Organized skill training such as baking, how to make local drinks, soap making, shoe making, beading among others can be looked into. This can control unemployment and social vices at both local and national level.

Offering Support To The Less Privileged Students In Communities

Most kids are challenged when it comes to having their fees paid; it could be for a term or semester. Even at the tertiary levels, some students struggle to buy educational materials to aid their studies. On another scale, there are lots who are unable to further thier education either to the secondary or tertiary level due to financial crippling.

Community leaders could be contacted to located such students by means of local announcements. Financial support could be offered to such individuals.

Hats off to the hive Ghana community and the entire project team for making the concerns of the people a mission to accomplish.

I believe the team would consider our submissions. Thanks for the read🙂

You are welcome

Thanks for submitting your entry. I am excited to see great ideas coming up for the great course of #hiveghana. Keep this up dear @adjapomah-i

This is how we can also submit our contributions to the #hiveghana project.

Thank you for the mention. I fully concur with your perspective on how vocational training and practical skills can effectively combat unemployment. When the free SHS initiative was introduced, I had hoped that vocational education would receive greater attention. It is disheartening to witness our leaders consistently neglect engaging with all stakeholders to better understand approaches for addressing societal challenges like unemployment before implementing policies.

The system as it is, is challenged. We can do greater good when we help others just like #hiveghana is.

Wonderful, helpful ideas. These would really assist beneficiaries in no small way. Continue the good work.

True.

These skills will go a long way in especially in this regime of unemployment
Well written

Vocational skills training is one thing that is gradually being abandoned in our country but little do we know it’s great potential and how it will help our youth.
These are some really good ideas you have shared with us. Thank you.
