Imagine closing from work, being stuck in traffic for ancestral years, only to get home to remember you ate the last bit of your stashed food in the fridge the precious night.?
That would be such a bummer. In a scenario where I find myself in this situation, going through the hustle of cooking a complete meal such as banku and soup/okra stew, Fufu and any other soup, plain rice and stew, would be time consuming. I would probably faint from hunger, I'd rather opt for a quick meal which my friend would call, the-lazy-girls food.

Noodles. Yes, stir fry noodles is what I would prepare. I prefer indomie noodles as it comes with its own spices.
The ingredients needed are the listed;
Indomie(noodles) One big size onion, 2large size carrots, small size cabbage, green pepper (bell pepper), two sausage rolls, one tin sardine and powdered pepper.
When I use sardine in my noodles, I do not add extra cooking oil as the oil from the sardine and the little oil stashed in a tiny sachet inside the noodle package would make up for it.

The cooking

The first to cook would be the noodles which only needs about 2mins to boil to a not so tender texture. While the noodles are boiling, I will take the time to wash, chop and dice the vegetables and also cut the sausages into tiny pieces.

When I get all my veggies ready and my noodles done boiling, I will put a frying pan on fire and allow it to heat up. I would pour the oil from the sardine into the hot pan and as the oil heats up too, would add the chopped onion first to get flavor then add the sliced sausages. The carrots as that's the hardest among the veggies would then follow next to fry a little. The remaining of the veggies would follow, I would stir whiles all these go on.

I don't like my veggies over cooked therefore I would stir fry for few seconds and add the noodles. Powdered pepper would be sprinkled on the noodles, I like my noodles looking colorful and spicy. Hence, I would add pepper to make it look more colorful and the blend of veggies would help too. Again, the plenty pepper would make it hot!

The sardine would follow suit and the indomie spice would be the last to be added. There wouldn't be a requirement for salt as the spices is already mixed with salt.
I chose to add my spice in the final stage as that would make it more flavorful.

In matters of few minutes, voila! food is ready.
Less stress, no time consuming at all and I’d be all set up for my quick meal.
