Pictures are a good way to keep memories of the past fresh because whenever you see those pictures you took at a certain moment in your life, memories of the person who snapped you and other events flood you.
Unfortunately I do not have many pictures of the past because I don't take pictures.
This is a throwback picture of me that was snapped in 2016 8 years ago, why do I love this picture? it reminds me of the days when things were hard for me, I was a teacher whose salary was not enough to feed me talkless of other basic needs, I was living life without worries if you look at this picture well, you will realize that I was happy. Happiness is a mindset.
This particular shop was where I used to collect food on credits because the owner was my neighbor, and the girl standing beside me was her husband's niece, This is where I always stay after work to gist with the owner and play with this girl and my street brothers because the shop is in front of my house.
These were the good old days, they were my friends and helpers, the boys would share their food with me on weekends because they live with their mother who still feeds them unlike me...
This was my second visit to the beach with family in 2021, I just love my pose and physique in this picture lol, it was after the 2021 bull run, man was loaded so I decided to take my family out to have fun at the beach, we were more than 12 that went that day, I would have flooded you with more pictures of those we went there together but I will be sticking to the rules of the prompt. So I can only share 3 pictures in total.
We left home around 9 a.m and got to the beach around 1 p.m, it was fun as we rode horses, rode the swings, ate barbecue, and played in the ocean when it was 5. p.m, my sisters asked us to start going to beat traffic but I was not ready to leave because I was having fun, In the end, I eventually agreed to leave around past 6 and yeah we got home late lol.
This image was taken last year in October precisely, It was during one of my visits to a hotel, there is no way I would lodge in a hotel with a pool that I wouldn't swim because swimming is one of my hobbies, I love it with passion and do not miss out on any opportunity to swim, Even though I am not a professional swimmer but I can dive and perform some styles in the water.
Something terrible happened the next day we were supposed to go home, My card got stuck when I wanted to withdraw money from the Atm beside the hotel, and we had to wait more than 3 hours to get it back from the bank. that was tiring and it took us longer to get home because of that incident.
